Movie; 'Taking Chance'.... awesome...

Hey guys,


There is a new HBO movie out called 'Taking Chance'. Its about a superior officer in the Armed Forces (USA) that volunteers to bring home a deceased soldier to his family. The officer is played be Kevin Bacon, and played well.

The journey is through the United States and finally to the boys home town.

I can tell you this... It will 'meat tenderize' your heart. You may want to watch it alone.

My highest recommendation to watch this...

Yep. I recorded it, and started watching it last night. Very touching. Reminded me of my experience when I escorted a shipmates body back to his family, after the USS Saratoga ferry boat capsizing in Haifa, Israel harbor.

I do not have HBO, but I saw the trailer for it and it looked like it was going to be one of those, low-budget films that just looks great....sometimes those movies with the lower budgets offer the most for the viewer...long story short; it looks good....

I saw the short film about the making of it on HBO one night. Looked pretty good.

Must have missed the actual play date then. Hmmm. :(
