mp problems

MP problems have so far have pretty much been limited to no one being able to join a game I hosted, but most of the time I can at least get a game up

However, now when i select host game, hit next to the following window, and start game on the next window, all i get is an hourglass for a couple of secs, and then the cursor....nothing ever starts up....and I am left with the join/host window....(the one you get after you select the mulitplayer medal off the off manager)

anyone have any suggestions?
 
I can only suggest firewall settings blocking the game as what you describe is similar to problems I had when trying MP on my home LAN, for some reason my firewall had blocked the game even though I set it not to.....re-installed the firewall and it all seems to work now (for my problem at least)

off mp problems

well,,,disabled firewall..no help

uninstalled everything, and reinstalled everything, and its still the same.
When I click on start game, absolutely nothing happens,,,I dont even get the "not connected to internet"

Tried mp in cfs3 and get the exactly same thing.

oh well,,,,,p3 is supposedly right around the corner....
