Just when you think he's gone, he turn's up again, hope he's doing ok and many thanks for his work :icon29::icon29:
cheers ian

I have to wonder if he is, most of the files are dated 2012, even the read me is from May 2012.

IIRC this was a personal project he had done for himself. It was mentioned in the read me of one of his other releases and could only be obtained by emailing him directly. This is the first time it has been publicly uploaded HTH

indeed again !! I found in my mail archives the one from Mr Ito !

I began to lose memory .. :isadizzy:

Even though it's been out for a while via private distribution, I'll consider this a "new release" and stick it.

The link does not lead to it! Where is it anyway? I looked in for it but could not find it.... Can you please furnish where to
find it? I am a great fan of Ito's creations (regardless of how they fly:isadizzy::isadizzy:) I find them very nice visually and
very easy to repaint

I copied and pasted the link from Flightsim.com.

He did well on this one, the contact points are close and he used the right engine. One thing you need to correct is the COG. As it is the center is behind the wing at 0.0 making the plane want to dive. You need to move it forward 4.5 to get it just forward of the center of the wing where the balance is good.

Found it....

I couldn't find it because I was barking up the wrong tree...:wiggle:
I think you mentioned SOH... and not Flightsim...
At any rate... thanks a lot for the URL

FS2002/FS2004 FockeWulf Fw189 "Uhu". The Focke-Wulf Fw 189 Uhu ("Eagle Owl") was a German twin-engine, twin-boom, three-seat tactical reconnaissance and army cooperation aircraft. It first flew in 1938 (Fw 189 V1), entered service in 1940, and was produced until mid-1944. Not to be confused with the Heinkel night fighter of the same name. By Kazunori Ito.

Neither have I!
This is actually a very nice model, even with some missing textures.
Working on it, but it's not easy without a paintkit. Next up are the FDE's...
Seems to have been a WIP project

Mr. Ito, THANK YOU!
I have wanted a Fw189 for a very long time and after short flight(maybe I'm just easily pleased but)this FS bird in a winner in my book!

Oh,technically there are no textures missing.

But thats the nice thing about FS,you can have it your way.:applause:

Now that is weird!
I never thought any airforce scheme would go into production looking half finished... :mixedsmi:
OK, I'm beaten..., reverting the starboard engine back to it's original state.
Just why did they do that?

Edit: I apologize to Mr. Ito for jumping to wrong conclusions.

Probably a in-the-field repair job,took a engine and/or cowl from another aircraft...I'm guessing.

Air file borrowed from FW189 for CFS2 by William Dickens, and then heavily modified in almost all regards. Aircraft.CFG mulled over by Aircraft Container Manager. What you see is what you're flying.

Uhu cruises @ 170 kts, maxes out 193 knots @ 8300 ft. Big flaps, big landing gear, she handles short rough fields with ease. Pleasant to fly, easy aerobatics for a bigger plane (especially if there's a Hurricane on your tail...) If you've got twin throttle controls, this'll probably do a fascinating hammerhead. Ground steering is by differential braking, tail wheel locks for take-off. Flaps up stall @ 65 knots, full flaps stall @ 50 knots. Flaps on this bird are a big deal, you probably won't find the need for full deflection unless it's a steep glidepath into a short field.

And...you can't beat the scenic view from the left seat.

Payload carries a crew of three @ 220 lbs each, plus two fuel tanks @ 112 gals each inner wing section. I wonder if that's right?

Aliased my copy to the default Beech Baron audio pack.....sounds fine to me.

A big thanks to Mr. Ito for sharing his terrific talent with us all. This one's a treat!

Howdy-

I'm glad to see that he finally released it- After he offered it 'by request only' in the readme file for his Fokker D23, I uploaded some skins I made for it here at SOH. At the time I thought it was probably one of the best, if not the best, all-around work he had done to date.

I'll be off to get the Fw-189 shortly- it looks like another beauty...

Thank you sir. . .I was just about to post about how "loose" the aircraft was in all aspects of control and you've already addressed them apparently. Thanks!!:salute:

Hi all,

Would anyone have contact details for Kazunori Ito please? Have been trying to email him at the addresses in his readme's but no luck.

Thanks,

Pat
