Mr. Stone is at it again

This is a cute little offering -- kind of a flying potato. Anyway, Here are my usual mods.

Beautiful little plane. DL'd her and went for a short flight and had only a single minor problem; no GPS. The simicon is there but seemingly doesn't activate anything. All other Simicons operate normally. Is there a (relatively) simple fix for this? I can, and often do, fly without GPS, but it's a convenient occasional crutch.

For some reason the icon doesn't work. Shift+3 does cycle a Garmin GPS.

Edit: I'm sure one of the great developers out there can explain how to make the icon link work properly.

You may want to check the panel config file - there may be a "Window" entry for the GPS, toward the top of the panel config file, but the window data itself may not be in the file farther down.

I've added GPS to panels in the past by creating a new window for it in the panel config file (up top), then going to the FS9 C-172, or any other aircraft you may desire, and just copying the GPS window data from that panel config file, changing the number to reflect the new number in the problem aircraft's panel config file, adding it in the appropriate spot, saving it and closing. I can't guarantee this will make it work with GPS panel icon, but if you're willing to use the keystroke option I've had this work pretty well.

There IS a window entry, but it is looking for a gauge I certainly don't have - maybe Mike meant to include the gauge needed, and forgot?

Apparently Mike has a third party GPS installed. The gauge line in the GPS section is calling for a GNS530. Just replace the gauge00 line with this:

gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500,0,0

Bravo, Mr. Clayton. Your suggestion worked like a charm. Thank you so much.
