MS2024...Still more trouble than it is worth...

...in my opinion. Came back and launched MSFS after about 6 months after going back to MSFS2020, and I have to say, other than a few aircraft like the HU-16, I'm still not impressed. Besides the still-atrocious flight dynamics on most aircraft, the latest item killing the joy of flight in MSFS is the cockpit cameras that have no rhyme or reason, seem to default to a crotch-level view of the instrument panel that precludes looking outside, and are difficult to configure (I'll get them figured out-- but not until I have a few hours to spend on it). Looks like I'll head back over to 2020 for another stint as Asobo continues to use those who bought as Alpha/Beta testers. I'm certain it will be wonderful...well...eventually.

I am currently trying it out with two (2) planes. Yes, just two. The RV-8 and the Iris PC-21. The RV-8 is my simple airplane perfect to punch holes in the clouds and fast enough for short X-country flights. The PC-21 is my real life dream airplane that I will never own or fly. But, the Iris version with the Occlus 3 VR headset and the H-3 motion platform is as close as I am going to get.

I have set up most of the controls for both aircraft and ,so far, they are doing well.

P.S. My fingers are crossed on that last statement.
