MSFS Addon-Linker app problem

I have been using this awesome application since it was first made available, but I ran into a problem this morning. I am in the process of moving all of my addons to a NAS drive I have, connected to my home network. The previous version of this app detected the NAS drive when I went to add a library to the custom list. However, when I tried the latest version, which was released a day or so ago, my network is not detected. Does anyone have a previous version of MSFS Addon-linker that you can share? I submitted a comment on the Flightsim.to page, but no idea when the author of the app will respond. NC

Chief, just updated the linker with no problems. It recognized my network as before. Not sure why you are having problems. Maybe in the cfg file. Check that out.

Chief, the older version, dated May of this year is still available on flightsim.to if you click on the download button. You have a choice between the current and previous versions.

Cheers,

Priller

Update: I did hear back from the developer, and he sent me a new .exe file, which cured the problem of not detecting my NAS drive, but (even though I am selecting addons for a preset, they are not being injected into the sim).

Linker does recognize the NAS, and successfully added it to the custom library list. I chose a addon (HPG-145 helo) just to check the actual Community folder. When I click on the contents in the Community folder, I get this msg:

"C:\Users\retna\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\hpg-airbus-h145 is not accessible. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."

In the Linker app, I looked at the right-hand side list of addons, and for that addon, it says, "Could not read the manifest.json.file"

In the left-hand list of addons; when I right-click on that addon to "Open current folder", all of that addon's files DO show up, no problem.

I want to believe there is a solution for this. Hoping you might be able to shed some light on it. Thanks. Pete

Got it working. In the Linker app, there is a option to change the type of files to Symlink. Once I chose that, all works great! NC
