Really soon! It's done by Red Wing Simulations (Connie, some old planes and many sceneries including 1935 amazing series). :wavey:

Marketplace only. 29,99$.

The last time I flew an airship very long time ago and it was the LZ-127 Graf Zeppelin of Bill Lyons, a lot of fun! I have good memories.

Will you get to fly this more than once? :wiggle::wiggle::wiggle:

Certainly, but you have to aim for a cruising speed of up to 128 km/h (70 kts), so you will only fly over 128 km in an hour (about 70 nm). The exception may be flying with the wind, it will be faster :biggrin-new:. Rather, it is a journey for patient people with some jazz as a background ;>.

It looks very well done, and based on the manual it appears to be quite detailed systems-wise as well...with quite a steep learning curve if you choose to fly it in 'career mode'. Clearly a passion project for the developer, as I can't imagine this will have wide sales appeal, but I'm always happy to see variety in our FS world!

I thought soon meant today in the Marketplace. Not there yet. It looks like an amazing amount of work went into this.

Cup of coffee? Shot of schnapps?

Better schnapps :very_drunk:!

But seriously, yes, the authors put a lot of work into it, there is even a "career mode", whatever that means. I also hoped that it would come out now, apparently within 2-3 weeks maximum.

I would assume the career mode would be along the lines of what they did with the Farman Goliath.
This falls into the same category as their Goliath for me. So much appeals to me but cruising at 65 knots, I just know I would not fly it much.
I wish them well though, it looks remarkable.

A fair warning might be in order. In the dev's Discord, it's been discussed that this addon will heavily impact frames. If I'm remembering right, they listed a 2080 as the minimum GPU to run it. I have a 1080, so I'll have to pass. Looks neat, though! (If this has changed, someone please correct me as I'm not wanting to spread disinformation, but RedWing and their beta testers were the original source.)

i have it beta tested,i have a 1080 ti......
yes it is heavy on my system, but if you not fly in ny or other heavy scenery it work for me,and there is a light version, but i test the standart.
so i think with a 2080 you are save....
and it is no aircraft were you jump in and fly,you need to learn it.
it have a lot detail and a lot systems simulated.....

edit;
new info is look like new minimum 11700k and rtx3070 to be save!!!

cheers Ralf

It probably also depends on the version. The highest version has many more elements, also more 3D cockpits, more people etc, the lite version will probably be the lightest for the system load and will have the smaller FPS impact.

New video with interiors:

I'm impressed by the enormous work that went into making these interiors. This is simulation in a simulator to the extreme. :biggrin-new:
It's closer to controlling of U-boot.

All of that interior detail work with prop disks that look like something out of FS9. Really? Pretty much killed it for me. No sale here.

It looks like quite a detailed model and seems to be more than just a screenshot generator - I wonder if the author has an interest in the USS Macon and the USS Akron...
