MSFS server issues

I am having many problems with MSFS bandwidth issues.
I am wondering if the problem is with Asobo and their servers.
I have done everything on my side to verify WiFi integrity and have not found a problem.
I can't even change sever location.

I don't see anything in the announcements section of the official board, but there could be a temporary issue. If it keeps up, try logging out/in with your Xbox cred's and make sure that online functions are set correctly.

Tom, did that....still having bandwidth issues with the sim connecting-disconnecting and connecting again.
Have done everything on my side to verify WiFi integrity...all okay.
This has happened in the past and was do to MSFS/ASOBO server issues.
I tried to set a different server but none where available.
Oh well let's see what occurs over the next few days.
Last I checked with provider about internet usage thinking that they might have throttled me down. Nope internet usage low....go figure.

For what it's worth, it seems like I go through periods where I am always being disconnected for some reason. It usually cycles to being disconnected and reconnected, very annoying. I am hard wired to my router and have no issues anywhere else with my connection and subscribe to an upper tier internet connection through Comcast so I feel pretty safe saying that it isn't a problem on my end. Some days are worse than others.

For what it's worth, from someone who works with "the cloud" every day for a living. It's not an exact science at all. Microsoft has "access classes" that prioritize corporate clients, so clients for gaming are among the last in the access queues. It's also geographically determined. The M$ cloud is supposedly global, it is, just not access wise. This is not only M$, it's also the different ISP's and the way they route their traffic.

For the time being, it's something that we'll have to live with.

Don't expect MSFS2024 to be any better. It most definitely won't be. Expect it to be worse.

Sorry for the doom and gloom.

I am on Comca$t as well, today it seems to be working for a change. I still think M$ is the culprit.
Yesterday I did everything I could to see if Comca$t was to blame but alas it was not the provider. Well by deduction the only other source to look at is M$ and their servers.
