Somewhere, in these threads, lay a buried reference to a great YT video of how MSFS settings affect what is seen on the screen.
I think Tom posted it somewhere, but after a lengthy fruitless search in the threads, ... I stumbled on it on the actual YT site today.

I think I've posted it more than once. I have it bookmarked for just such an occasion. For anyone that hasn't watched it, I think there may be a few more settings added by now, but this video is still very relevant. It's also long, so grab pen, paper, and most important: COFFEE!

Yes, also a lot of the values have changed entirely. So Ultra Terrain Level of Detail is completely different today than it was in 2020, for example.
