MU-2B-60 Engine Out (vR Cut)

Finally got my hands on the Flysimware MU-2B-60 this evening when it appeared at Flightsim.com Pilot Shop. I switched out the old w/new interior which is quite nice. I first just got it fired up and ran patterns around the field left traffic just to get a feel for the way it handles and transitions between different speeds, gear & flaps settings. Unless I am usually flying some type of high wing loading jet fighter model in FSX, pattern work is boring as hell but not with this model. In fact, it is a blast to fly in the pattern. My next run was a Nav flight from GSO to ILM at FL200, no surprises, all went well. My last flight a little while ago, I decided to see if I could tame the "Wild Horse" of a v1/vR engine cut. I followed procedure(as best I could not having ever trained on or flown the real MU-2 or this FS model), and while it was a bit tricky, following the EO/EP procedures to the letter, it did pretty much what I've read from real MU-2 Pilots. These screens show my landing success with an engine out. All in all, pretty darn impressed!

Engine Out/ Emergency Procedures.

The information sources I was referring to was from the AOPA and and different web based MU-2 Pilot forums and videos. My former boss owned an MU-2 as well as well as being fully qualified to fly it. Having serviced that MU and many others that came in to our field, information & general Pilot discussion was easy to come by.

I wondered if that's what it meant.

Interesting, I'll have to take a look and see what I can find. Thanks!
