Mudpond CFS3 Flight Model Upgrade Packages

That's right AFAIK, but the stock models are woefully inaccurate. I strongly suggest using Mudpond. I never got around to finish testing if mudpond and stock can fly together in multiplayer. Probably not. See if Grizzly knows more. We can try a test session some time and I can try to host. Life is crazy now but maybe we can fit something in.

:kilroy:Loverboy1 and Squiffy, Mudpond is a great improvement over the stock CFS3 FM's. However, no multiplay is possible unless every one has the conversion.

My recommendation is to create a dummy folder (empty) away from your install (either ETO or stock CFS3), and run Mudpond into the dummy folder.

Then copy all of the normal stock planes into it, and place all the new files into those planes, one by one. Then re-name all of the newly-modded stock planes. Re-name everything: the planes, the *.air files, the *.xdp files, *.m3d files, etc. Finally, change all of the necessary info in the the aircraft.cfg and *xdp files of each of these "new" planes, and now put them all back into your install. Voila! A "new" set of stock planes. They will still look like the old, but they sure as heck won't fly like them.

Hope this answers your questions.:d
