• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

MultiCFS3 problem solved

Thank u RCAfmad and Hairyspin for your help. The whole problem I had with the MultiCFS not working, was I was coping the whole folder into the game and runing it from the multicfs folder. Well, out of shear luck I open the folder and just copied the multicfs that was in the folder to the game and it worked fine. So, after a complete dumd ass that I am I now have a new computer, and now know there is nothing wrong with my other HP.
Well still learning how to do some of these download extensions for CFS3. Got BoB,FirePower, ETO, PTO, Korean Skies.
Can't get MAW to install, even though I have the old downloads and I understand that the site is down.
Can't get OFF to install and any help on these 2 expansions to help me get them installed will be appreciated. Thanks again u guys..... John
 
Is your version of CFS3 fully updated? If you have not updated to 3.1a with Mission Builder, then it might well be that MAW and OFF can't find the files they are looking for to copy. Alternatively, if your base install is not pure vanilla 3.1a (in other words, with NO addons at all) then that could be the trouble.
 
Glad you got it sorted, JR! You might have noticed the sticky thread above as well as the welcome news that MAW is available once more.

MAW is very easy to install, so long as you follow Nigel's advice. He is one of the people who built it y'know! :engel016:
