Multiplayer proposition

Hi all,

Would anyone be interested in doing a multiplayer night over Christmas? We've all worked so hard over the years to make CFS3 as amazing as it is today.

And, one contribution that I'd love to suggest is a multiplayer night where we do a historical mission! The more here at SOH the better!

I think this would be a great way for all of us to enjoy CFS3 together!

Merry Christmas to all!

Chris

One major issue is the heavily modified installs everyone may have now. IIRC, we would all have to keep a 'clean' ETO or CFS3 basic install?

All of my installs are heavily modded except for Pat's BoB expansion. It's the only one i haven't touched except for missions added. Would this make a difference ? Haven't played online for many years and don't like the stock aircraft much anymore since there are so many good ones out now and all the 1% aircraft available. Regards,Scott

I just figured it'd be a fun thing to do over Christmas. I completely forgot that all installs have to be stock!

Well I don't think they have to be 'stock', but everyone must have the same. So vanilla ETO or BoB should also work AFAIK.

Yeah that would be great times to fly in such MP..but for my install i only had different ground texture only and i dunno if those can be a problem in multiplayer. I would like to fly multiplayer sometimes ! I think we need the new overhauled version of the very best CFS3 collection just for MP :)

Yes,it's me.

1. Everyone joining IP to IP must bave exact same aircraft as host, or will mismatch.

2. Look at stickies for joining IP to IP after Win XP.

3. Keep missions short ranged. No warp online.

4. You will find the online vets and other assorted CFS3 nuts at www.sim-outhouse.net.

I wouldn't have missions longer than half an hour. But, I definitely think a multiplayer night would be fun.
