There are certain addons both freeware and payware that change the look, the feel and above all what everyone is looking for in the sim "The realism of the sim"

Feel free to post your favorite addon freeware and payware. Please provide picture, videos and links to the addon if available.

Mines are
1. A2A Accu Feel
2. FS Water Configurator http://www.strikingsoftware.com/downloads.shtml
3. Active sky next http://secure.simmarket.com/hifi-tec...sky-next.phtml
4. REX MILVIZ WX ADVANTAGE RADAR http://secure.simmarket.com/rex-milv...sxse-p3d.phtml
5. Aerosoft Night Environment
6. REX TEXTURES http://www.rexsimulations.com/

just to name a few

REX Texture Direct with Soft Clouds
EZDok Camera
ORBX scenery

Plus the ones you mentioned.

For the things I do...

VRS TacPack
Lorby SI FirefighterX
Megascenery Earth CA (need to fly over real terrain)
Blue Sky Scenery NV

If you are flying airliners

AES from Aerosoft or GSX from FSDreamteam.

and some AI package (freeware or payware) in any case.

I think my only "must have" is FSUIPC, although it doesn't change the appearance of the sim.

Track IR - or equivalent - expensive but you can easily build your own, as I did. It doesn't just make looking around easier, it also adds greatly to the immersion and the feeling that you are actually in that cockpit.

#1

Rudder pedals and a yoke setup. In my case, CH Products combo. File these under "Feel".

Personally I think a joystick or other perhaps advanced controls are quite useful......

The rest is all "nice to have" but not really mandatory.

Cheers,
Huub

A force feedback stick/yoke, pedals and TrackIR, plus decently detailed scenery of where I like to fly, so OrbX UK scenery.
