My AirEd is not maximizing

I assume you mean to expand out to fill your screen out. Mine won't either but I get by without expanding. AirWrench is a better software choice. Those are the two I use.

It has a expansin box and a minus box but the expansion is dasabled the minus takes it offscreen but still open

I succeed to open manually...

The last AirWrench tool take a lot of automatic actions like put all wing induced drag to zero. You need to edit the right values manually and AirEd is the best program to do that.
