• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

allow me to pre-congratulate you on a half century of survival. many folks don't. many folks here have come close to NOT doing it, including me. i'm glad you're here, even though we never met.
50 is a milestone to be proud of, imo.

no kidding to that, two cousins,my first two brother inlaws ( i warned the new one,but hes 54)and several of my friend have all passed before age 45,i used to worry about it,,and this year at age 49,i had about 8 classmates pass from things ranging from diabetes to car crashes,,,still makes me somewhat uncomfortable at times with the amount of meds i take...my liver must be mincemeat...

50 is the new 60 or so they tell me although my bones disagree after strenuous yard work and my shoulders don't need a weatherman to tell me rain is in the forecast, shall I tell ye about my knees. lol

Congrats anyhow. :icon29: Can't be there but have a great day.
