Well this is how it goes... I was putting mods on Cfs3 and each time it froze i would restart, uninstall, and install it again, now it doesn't want to install at all, says it has a problem reading from cab7 or something. I have CFS3 installed on another computer at my dads office:d, so I want to know if it wont be possible to copy and paste all those files and paste them into the cfs3 file in my comp. Will this work?
Thanks for putting up with my questions.
Mario

When you uninstalled it have you deleted the files from c:/ program files/.../application data too?

Mario CFS3 will not function properly if you just copy it into your "Program Files" folder. You have to do a proper install so CFS3 can make the necessary registry entries. If you have a registry fixing program, run that before you do a new install. Possibly your PC left a corrupted game file from the last install/uninstall. If you have completely uninstalled CFS3 and removed all of the files then your game should install. If that does not work then your operating system may be the problem.

Well I think it my pc because even when I play other games it will pull up a blue screen that says a fatal error occured, ill probably end up taking it for a checkup. I dont know about the application data, ill check, what does that do anyway?

Its a file separate from the main game folder that stores start up information like which aircraft will spawn at which location and numerous other settings. It sounds however like your PC is the culprit.

sounds to me your video card is overheating........

(happened to me and stopped only after replacing the fan on the card)

Time for house cleaning?

How long has it been since your machine has been cleaned? Even in the cleanest home the heat sinks and fans in a computer can become clogged with dust and reduce the cooling capacity of an otherwise adequate cooling solution. I clean mine at least once a month. Living on a dirt road doesn't help any either.
