• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

My First DC-3 Touchup

SOH-CM-2025
Didn't know exactly how to title this thread but essentially, I added the Admiral stars to both sides of the MJ C47 V2 to resemble the Maam-Sim Dc-3.
I made numerous attempts at making paint.net work (I added the photo shop plugins). Anyway, this is my first feeble attempt at
trying to recreate that "famous R4D" that most of us are familiar with. A friend here added the green to the leading edges of the engines cowlings

Think it's all the same luster now

Thanks Jankees for your inputs, they were clear as mud at first and seemed intimidating like driving on ice with bald tires. I think the shiny stars are ok for now. Not sure about how or if I want to make em semi gloss.
