The Boeing Type 218 avaiable is, truly, a Boeing F4B-4 made by Paul Clawson (we owe a lot to him). Fortunately, AF Scrub did a Boeing P-12 with the correct outline needed for Robert Short plane at Shanghai incident. So, I adapted the skin made by JD Tinball to fit at Scrub's new model. At the same time, I decided to built two Brazilian Air Force P-12. They were a mix between the P-12E and the F4B-4 and were used until 1949. By the way, does anybody know how can I alfa treat the radio mast and the hook?

Cheers

Pepe,

Have you looked at using MWright's MdlMat to make them transparent?

Oldwheat's got some experience of this, otherwise I could take a look (but it might take a while).:wavey:

Can't wait till these birds are up. I need a P-12 for my 1930's hangers. It truly a missing exibit in my virtual museum.

...Scrub's P-12 Converts from FS2002 with any ease at all [or he uses the same texture mapping on a CFS2 version], I found these over at FS2000.org:

FS2004/FSX Boeing P-12B Repaint Pack. Six repaints for the Boeing P-12B by A.F. Scrub: early P-12Bs (no ring cowling) of the 95th Pursuit Squadron, the 43rd School Squadron and the Bolling Field Detatchment, and late P-12Bs (with ring cowling) of the 6th and 55th Pursuit Squadrons and the Air Corps Technical School. Repaints by Mick Morrissey based on A.F. Scrub's original textures. 10 Mb

Of course, I'll upload an American P-12 serie... I intend to build the "A", "B" and "E" versions, they differed structurally. The E version had a monocoque fuselage.

I'll send it to you. It's only one model and I know it's an easy task for who knows what to do. it's not my case. I'm an airfile man.
