Very nice video, thank you for sharing it - it must have been a great thrill!

Although it was a very unfortunate circumstance (the loss of the "Liberty Belle") that brought about its use by the Liberty Foundation, it is great to see the "Movie Memphis Belle" on tour.
 
Good stuff. I didn't hear the hydraulic pump going off during taxi. Made me sad...! :icon_lol:
 
Yeah, it was a real rush! The B-17 has my family history tied to it - 2 of my uncles flew it on missions, and my one bloodline uncle paid for it with his life when his plane was hit over Memmingen, Germany. He got the other 9 crewmen out safely, but went down with the plane. He is buried in Belgium. Thankfully, my other uncle who flew it is alive and well!
