Mystery CTD

highpockets

SOH-CM-2025
Why would I sometimes get a CTD on many missions and then after coming back to the sim later, the missions work? Then they quit again.

Haven't tried the cashe. It has been working just fine. I just went in and opened a mission in each of my CFS 2 MTO, ETO, and PTO and they loaded just fine. Tried my CFS 2 RAAF(my title) again and it loaded a mission just fine in each of the groups( Coral Sea, Defense of Australia, and RAAF and they each loaded--even the one that CTD earlier this evening! ??
The only thing I haven't done yet is change all the corrected ship .dp files from Pen32. Not sure if that would cause the intermittent problem.

Hi highpockets,

That's a hard one to answer. It could be a thousand and one things in the sim. An aircraft gauge, bad dp file, etc.

It's easier to analyze with info, for example, what was happening in the mission exactly at the time of CTD, or the last type of file added before the gremlin started messing up your install.

I know that with all of the addons one can get :dizzy: trying to trouble-shoot things, but these little details will usually set off a light-bulb in another members head that had the same issue one time or another
and solutions are as easy as cake, or pie, or maybe strudel....ahhh, you know what I mean. :indecisiveness:
