Nakhon Phanom (NKP) veterans wanted

Hi,

I am helping a friend with an academic project (bachelor thesis in geomatics / cartopraphy which he is studying). He chose to analyze and present the infrastructural development of an airbase, and picked Nakhon Phanom as subject for that. Nice pick, to tsay the least!!
In April we will be travelling together to NKP in person to do field work and geo referencing there.
The reason why I write this here is that the airfield will be modelled completely in 3D and I plan to help him to use the P3D ESP engine as a presentation method, which means that with a little bit of extra work there will be a freeware version for FSX/P3D as an extremely accurate scenery of NKP as it was around 1972.

We would love to have some contacts who served on NKP so we could ask questions or check with the placement of buildings or other things that might come up that might be clarified with people who have been there during these times.

Thanks,
Mark
