'NASCAR 2010 Chopping Block'

I've noticed that some Cup drivers do much better in the Nationwide Series, perhaps that is where he belongs?

Junior can drive, but that's where it all ends, he cannot read a car and tell any CC what needs to be done. This day and time, driving is all it takes to win races, you have to be able to read the car and communicate with your CC. Stick a fork in Jr., he's done as a driver.

Hell, Kyle Busch is old school like David Pearson, I think he could care less about winning a convoluted "Chase for the Chump", he just wants to win the race, that's what racing is all about anyhow, duh.

Brad Keselowski, I was trying to like the guy, because I like mixing it up. But he has been too aggressive and he let's his mouth poo the scrooch every time. I hope Denny put some forethought in his brain at Homestead during the Nationwide race. If he learns to control that aggresive nature, he'll be a good driver. Otherwise, he'll be a marked man his entire career.

Jr. has said himself that he needs a tough, strict CC that wont take any guff from him. Someone like Tony Sr. or Chad. But it may be too late as his self confidence seems to be gone.

Well some good points but think of this. Since JR has been racing his CC has always been Tony SR. All but 2 of his cup wins came with Tony SR in his ear. Back when he won his first Busch race at Dover in 98 DW had said that JR just wants to go fast but its Tony SR who gets him to settle down. Oh that too, JR won 2 straight Busch series titles. Bring back Tony SR. Look at what he did for brad in the 88 in the nationwide. He just makes you confident as a driver. A lot of races I have gone to Dale JR would ask for certain tweaks on his car and you would hear Tony JR tell him no almost 95% of the time and tell Dale what they will do instead. Just seemed as thought their two egos would crash.

Second. These new cars are like the ones back in the early 80's. Mark Martin said he loves them because of the old feel and as you can see he did real well this year. Not for nothing but the 88 team didnt really have much luck this year. When they would be running well they got caught up in somebodies problem.

He always seemed to be arguing with Tony Jr and would not listen to him. But that is not the case with Tony Sr who won't take any bs. I wish Rick would match him up with Chad. That may help Jr and end the boredom of JJ winning constantly. No, I have nothing against JJ, it just gets dull when you know who will probably win.

Terry,

Very true. I have nothing against JJ but I don't care much for chad. When leaving Dover a few years ago after the Busch race I was walking down the ramp when I look over and I chad walking right next to me. I had just said "Chad good luck tomorrow. You guys dominate here" and he didn't even reply or look at me. He was not even 3 ft from me. Todd Parrot had heard me and laughed and said "What is th 38 car horrible" lol and we started talking about the 38 car.

But you gotta admit JJ can sure drive a stock car and he deserves to be where hes at right now. Bring back Tony SR for the 88.
