Ok here is the problem.
I have been working on this paint for a while now, and have tried different colors for the base color of the plane.
But none I have tried look good with the paint scheme I am doing, so I am asking for every ones help in finding a good color to accent the mural.
Thanks everyone
Amanda.

A grayish blue, per chance...?

I tried that.....Looks good, so I tried a little more of a greenish blue, and it looks even better......
When I post it for download I may include the PSD with it, so others can modify it to their taste....

I don't necessarily like to make comment on others repaints or work, as it is in the eye of the creator how things need to look.
However, the mural you're trying to place on the craft looks squished a bit. Perhaps flipping it so that the sun is on the nose rather than the tail, and maybe sliding the whole works down a tad to allow more orange from the evening sky to drape over and around the nose. It may blend out easier?

You may be selective and lighten up variations once you find a fitting back blend as a base color.
Something I always do is to create copies of the layer I want to work on for a fresh start. Or for cutting new areas that I don't like that I messed up on.

That's a big mural for such a short (in height) fuselage to be placed on.

Not meaning to over critique. Please don't take offense.

None taken OleBoy.
My dad said I was stretching it to much as well. I guess wisdom does come with age.:icon_lol:
I'll try flipping the image, and see if it helps.
Thank you.
Amanda.

That's certainly... busy.

Fade the edges a little and you could go for a black or perhaps a deep burnt orange? Right now I'd say the ends are too sharp for anything to look good behind it. Nice work though... its certainly unique.

Thanks firekitten.
I'll try that, I have a teal color for the base that looks good and kinda blends into it, but yes the edges do look harsh on it.
