Need help installing scenery

I'm trying to install scenery into the flight sim. The scenery is called utah complete , I create a folder called KSLC and two sub folders scenery, and texture, I copy the files from the download into these folders. I start FSX up and go to the scenery library and click add area and click on the folder KSLC. The screen shot is what I get when I try to add the scenery. I've added scenery in FS9 and don't know what I'm missing.

airtj, looks like you have gone a little to far into the scenery part of your scenery. You should see both folders, scenery and texture in the screen you showed. Once both folders show in that screen click ok but then left click on the blank area of the screen under the folders and it will be listed in your scenery library. Hope this helps.

Stovall thanks for the tip, it worked. I thought I was a pro at installing scenery for both flight sims untill something likes this makes you want to rip out some hair.

I think you must have changed the OS from Windows XP to Windows 7, because that peculiarity comes from the OS not from the FSX. I as well as many others have been astonishing the very same thing while changing the OS.
