Need help, trees vanishing??

Can anyone help me please, I run the game at 1680 x 1050 and when Im in virtual cockpit mode and look around, at the bottom of the screen, about 1" up, I have a band where the game stops drawing trees? I am assuming that this is to help the FPS rendering only those trees that can be seen by the player, but it seems to be set for a lower screen res possibly?
Does anyone know where this can be changed, its taking feeling of being there away completely for me when trees just pop up :(

the trees vanish, but is there also a skin missing ? E.g. white planes, trees and part of the landscape ? This might be an issue with your graphics card, maybe needing a new driver, or your graphic settings.
I may not be able to help, but there might be some, you should post at which resolution, which PC, graphic card and especially where your sliders for the detail settings are ?

Could this possibly be a case of running maxed out on the sliders, as unexplainable problems with video images, are the proven result.
Such problems Do NOT occur immediately, normally within days, even the most powerful machines will lower their heads, and pay homage to the Gods of Video

If such be the case, the solution is near at hand.
Back Down to 4 on Scenery

I have seen this too - without even looking at your vid. More noticeable if you are a trackir user IME.

Its deep in the CFS3 rendering engine.....

Thanks, seems to be much better now with scenery set at 3, all other sliders at 5...not as noticable, seemed to be around the airfield mostly
