Need help with finding a file "dlgstd.bmp"

Lazerbeak

Something I installed has replaced the file "dlgstd.bmp" for the GUI of the main menu. I need to find this file to restore the original, but I do not know from where to get it.

I searched it, and found a topic, here on this forum, where it was a similar problem resolved. But the thread is old and the file is no longer attached.

Though it's a bother, can someone tell me please, where I can find this file on the installation discs? Or, if it's possible, send me it, so I can replace it?

If anyone can help me, I'm extremely grateful! :salute:

I am attaching a zip copy of the original stock file for ya. Just save it to your system, unzip it and bingo bango...you are all set to fix your install.

That was quick!

OBIO, thank you very much for taking the trouble and posting the file. It's a big help!

As always, I can count on SOH to solve any problem! :applause:

It was no trouble at all. Glad to be of assistance to my brothers/sisters on the site. As I have been helped by others, I try to help others in return. That is what keeps SOH alive and stable.

Here's a link that you might find handy:
http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=41627

You can insert the CD (exit the installer if it's #1), then go to My Computer, right-click the drive's icon, then select Browse. Open the cab files with something like WinRar so that you can see the folder structure and you can then easily find and extract any factory file you need.
