After a long time I reinstalled both CFS 2and 3.I remember there were a lot of tweaks to the CFS 3 config to get her running and looking better could someone help me out. thank you ..I have a sweet setup for CFS2 with RumbaFlappys mesh scenery and it looks great but trying to getCfs3 up to speed is eluding me

You need to go to your game folder in program files (x86) . Select properties on the cfs3.exe and in compatibility and select windows xp(service pack 3) and select run this program as an administrator and select ok at the bottom . That works for me. I'm running win7 64 bit too.

Six String I have it running ok..My question was about the config...I remember there were a bunch of tips like checking dual pass resdering and others that improved running cfs 3 but don't remember how to get it running sweet

One of those guides was on enabling 2048 textures, at Reg's Hanger. That is now at a new site maintained by mrjmaint. Note that most rigs are now fully able to run CFS3 fairly well maxed out, so unless you machine is older than mine...
