Need Some Assistance

While looking for some good desktop backgrounds, I came across these pics that look to be from the same location. The problem is, I can't find where that location is. The first thing I'd like to know is where these were snapped, and then I'd like to know if there's an freeware scenery pack that does it justice. Any ideas out there?

After digging into both Bing and Google satellite views, I do believe that VRMM is the correct airport - thanks much!!!

While I'm at it, let me ask if anyone knows where I can get my hands on the Eric Dantes Twotter Amphibian model. I can find the land version with the panel update easy enough, but all I can find related to the amphib version are repaints.

Just to cement it,

I got the Lago payware Maldives scenery in a pack called 'Holiday resorts' It included the aforementioned, plus Punta Cana, Hurgada and Honolulu. As with many lago products the scenery is much more than the airport. Plus even more than that it came with the Lago Twotter (wheel, float, ski & amphib versions). If that wasn't enough it included the Aerosoft/sim-wings Canary islands scenery (9 airports, mesh, etc, touted for FS2002 in the manual, but the disc says FS2004.) All this second hand for £0.01plus £2.04 p&p. Got mine from Amazon UK.

More than I paid but still lots cheaper than in the US.

might be cheaper to see if the UK seller would post to US.

Thanks Larry - I'll give it a try while I keep looking. I had Eric's wheeled version a decade or so back and I remember how well it flew. I was hoping for the same success with the amphib version.

If you Extended search at Avsim under author for Eric Dantes, there are all the models, some are for FS2002 though, but there seems to be a mdl update for Erics mdls for FS9, this may update the FS2002 amphib to FS9?

To busy to check, sorry.

Textures from one should fit other (with a little stretching around the nose for the amphib)

You'll need sounds and maybe panel to fit, as these are texture/model upgrades for most part (see the readme files!)

Thanks for the links! :applause: I have the "Shark" texture, so I think I'll see how that fits on the amphibian model. Otherwise, I'll keep digging - maybe I'll find a paintkit...
