Need some help mapping my flightstick?

Its been a while since I played around with FSX and had this issue. I got me a thrustmaster T16000 fcs hotas. This is the issue. In the controller options it has the stick as one option and the throttle as another option. With my old x52 I only had the x52 as a option. If I choose the stick option, I cam map my keys. If I choose the throttle option I can map those keys. When I go in game I can only use one or the other. With the x52 I only had 1 usb. With the thrustmaster I have 2 usbs. So is there something I'm missing? Thanks.

In case of doubt, a registered FSUIPC4 is the way to go. Helped me a ton with getting an XBox 360 pad to work as it's supposed to with FSX.

Do want to sound rude or anything like that, but how will FSUIPC4 work with controllers?

Got it figured out...yay. I watched a YT about FSUIPC4 and looks pretty good. May have to get this.
