Needing help again

Jeez, it's dusty in here :d !
My old PC just gave up the ghost along with ALL of my files including my 'cheat sheets' so I'm back to square one.
Just a question: Is there a tute or other info on LOD settings for aircraft? Before, I just looked into another multi-resed source file for ideas.
