New aircraft problem in g-max

I am working on a Arado 232 in g-max.
Have problems with some components and meshes to transfer in cfs3.
Its funny, some meshes I can see only from one side not from both. From one side I can see through the object and can see only the things behind.
And it is not possible to add a color texture.

Perhaps somebody can help.:mixed-smiley-010:

conversions

I suspect but you did not say that you converted the model form one program to gmax or ??? Regardless this happened to me all the time I just deleted the offending parts, cloned and mirrored the one(s) I needed and remapped as I had to.

If you did Bolleen cuts make sure all of the extra verts are deleted. also make sure you used the correct mirror function. don't use the button. use the one in the drop down menu on the right.

As Bloodhawk says, never, ever use the Mirror button on the toolbar. It's actually possible to get rid of the thing (I did), see this post.

However, I don't think your problems are to do with that, the screenshots clearly show part of the fuselage is inside-out. Here's Milton Shupe's XA-38 Grizzly and thanks to thick-fingered me the fuselage is inside–out:–

As for the texture problem, do you mean the parts don't take on a different colour when you repaint the textures? It may be they are using Gmax colours instead of being properly mapped to the texture. If so, they'll have to be mapped first.

BTW, the Mirror button doesn't show wonky results in Gmax, things look just fine. It's only when you export to CFS3 that things will appear inside-out (same with FS of any version) which is why it's an oft-repeated warning.
