New BAe 146 from PAD

The new and long awaited (well, over at CBFSIM anyway) BAe 146 has been released over at Premier Aircraft Design and it looks rather nice; and the cherry on the cake is that it is a -100 series, something that has always been missed untill now - and the sprinkles on the cherry come in the form of a BAe 146 CC2 of 32 (The Royal) Squadron.

The various Jon Murchison offerings over the years, the new HJG versions, the Paul Hannity & the Eurowings 146s have always been of the -200 and -300 series (and'or associated RJ developments); all of them have been very nice, but it left a gap in the lineup (I believe there may have been an AI -100 at one point) which Bob & the team have filled. Gentlemen, I salute you! :salute:

Quick test performed ...
Flyiable
Exterior model OK
Crappy nozewheel (burried in ground when braking) contact point (as usual and why ? )
Contact point correction under:

point.0 = 1, 28.95, 0, -12.76, 3000, 0, 2, 70, 0.1, 2.5, 0.952, 9, 8, 0, 219.9, 250.3

The engines are feed with amphetamines .. lol .. must tame them later ...

Toe brake are to soften (a lot !!)
This work for me:

Thanks for the heads-up; I am liking the Lufthansa repaint at Premaircraft's Repaint Corner. Now if we can get a Northwest Airlink livery...

EDIT: whups looks like I was off...Northwest Airlink (Mesaba) used RJ85s (BAe 146-200s). Maybe when they come out with the -200 we'll see that one (hint hint wink wink nudge nudge)

This is a error in the aircraft.cfg proposed with the repaint for the model !

PREMIER AIRCRAFT DESIGN

BAE 146-100

Lufthansa repaint for FS9 and FSX by Bob May

Texture folder installation :

IMPORTANT : You must already have a working copy of the BAE 146-100 installed in FS2004 or FSX
This can be downloaded from our web site.


1. Open the downloaded zip file by double clicking on it.

2. The zip will open and show the files within.

3. Select entire contents of the zip by using keys Ctrl-A

4. Extract the files to the aircraft (or airplanes) folder of your BAE 146-100

5. This will create a new folder named texture.lufthansa

6. Open the “aircraft.cfg” file (double click) and copy the following lines into it underneath the [fltsim.0] entry.

7. Edit where necessary.(see > > > marks)

8. Save file and exit.

If not corrected .. the repaint will never appears in the choice aircraft GUI :)
 
They've released a patched version over at PAD which tweaks the performance and tidies up a couple of issues the Royal Flight colour scheme.

Thanks for the heads up Claudius, the other four 146 repaint zips had the same omission. The help text has now been amended.

A little update in order methinks!

There is now a -200 series out at PAD which, when taken with the -300 available at HJG, means we now have a complete set!

PAD have a 3-pack repaint set of the -100, including an earlier livery for the CC2. And Techy111 is working on a lot of liveries for the -100 which can be seen over at CBFSIM, rather looking forward to the BAe demonstrator and the Dan Air one.:salute:
