• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

I saw this posted at flightsim.com and thought folks here would be interested:

They have opened a new bar in Virginia Beach, home of F18's at oceana.

Bar is called Hanger 09 They have 4 flight simulators in the bar. I have to go see this soon, but of course some Navy Pilot will make me look stupid I am sure.

That is something different. Might have to drive over there and see what it is all about. Maybe I can talk Tarpsbird into going with me since I gotta drive by his area to get there. About 30 minutes from Hampton.

I think we can make that happen. :) The bar is in the building that used to be the Hitters University batting cage complex. If they've used all that space the place must be humongous. We'll probably be the oldest guys there. :icon_lol:

Well, I'm glad I cross-posted this information then! When I saw it, I immediately came here to see if it had already been posted. When I discovered it had not, I jumped back to flightsim.com for a quick copy/paste/post here! :)
 
Eat, drink, fly... isn't there a rule of some sort against that? :icon_lol:

That does look like a great place to go... by myself. I think the mrs. might get a tad bored.
