Work In Progress:
I picked up the Aerosoft PBY (finally) on sale this weekend. I always like to have a clean, blank aluminum skin to use as a base for my repaints. I'm working on the skin now. Two versions, one is polished skin for contemporary aircraft. The second will be matte with alpha and custom spec files for WWII era applications.
I'm adding a lot of fine touches in the form of wear, oil/water stains and corrosion unique to seaplanes.
I'll be posting screenshots as I go. I'll be very interested in your input and suggestions as I develop this art. The final file will be available as a base layer for those who are looking for a clean aircraft to start their own work with.
I'm flying the natural aluminum clean model now...looks pretty good.
