New Cessna 120 takes to the skies

I have taken Brian Gladden's Cessna 140 and done some tinkering with it and have produced a Cessna 120, which was a cheaper version of the 140. The 120 had no flaps, no electrical system, and the D shaped windows behind the cockpit doors were options instead of standard items. The 120 had cloth covered wings, like the first generation Cessna 140. This version of the C120 will have the D shaped windows since they are modeled into the plane.

I have the wings redone to reflect the cloth covering, have the flaps nulled out in the air file and config file (thanks to tips from Wozza). Still have some work to do before I can call this project complete, such as repainting the 2D and VC panels a bit to remove the 140 designation and reflect the 120 designation. Still not sure if I want to roll the plane all the way back to reflect an original C120 with no lights, no radio, no electric starter (the 120 was started by spinning the prop)...or if I want to depict a 120 that has been updated with an electrical system, radio, lights and electric starter.

Once I have all of these details wrapped up, I will submit the package to Brian for his approval, then I will begin knocking out some paints packages and get the C120 uploaded.

I will also be doing some paints for the C140 to reflect both the earlier 140 (which had cloth covered wings, aluminum clad fuselage and control surfaces) and the 140A, which had aluminum clad wings instead of cloth covered.

Both the wheeled and float versions of Brian's C140 will get similar treatment...so there will be a C120 Wheeled, C120 Float, C140 Wheeled, C140 Float, C140A Wheeled and C140A Float.

If I'm not mistaken the C120 and c140 wing had the same shape and the C140A had a different shape a lot like the C170 and L19

It turns out this is correct...the 120 and 140 had round tipped wings and the 140A had square tips. Oh well, that means the 140A gets replaced by modernized 140s that have been upgraded to aluminum wing coverings....a lot of real life 140s have been given this upgrade since metal clad wings do not require as much maintenance work as cloth covered wings.
