• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

I am so glad you are back in the fold here Tom. I stay off doing Caz things like cycling. Man, if this is Winter, I sure don't want to see Summer! I did 33 miles today.

Its a fairly simple model, but a good one for sight seeing and just ploden along. It has a few fun animations in it and it flies not bad.

I am glad you guys are enjoying it.

Just a small question: why only "texture" is visible

??? Why all others are purely "transparent", what I have done wrong (sure must be my fault ...) ?
Anyone has suggestions !?!

Hey :)
The textures are either 32 bit or dxt3.
They should work for any standard direct x or glide setting on your 3d card. Unless you are trying to run the Hippo in Fsx, then that will make the plane not have textures. A good way to fix that is to set the textures in dxt1 with out alpha. I hope this works for you

I am, infact, running FSX+Accel and DX10 and converting the textures to DXT1 did the job :applause::applause:
