New Doctor tomorrow (Saturday)

That's right.. Matt Smith takes over the role as the Doctor.... I am very anxious because I thought David did one hell of a job playing the character. The only thing that makes me believe the series is going to be good is because the writer who wrote all my fav. episodes in the last 5 years, is now the head writer... Fingers crossed, I hope it's going to be a good one!

You trust House?!?!?!

What that man puts the human body through to find out what's wrong with people is downright scary sometimes.

Ah yes...tonight is the 1st episode of the new series:jump:

I remember getting hooked on that series 20 years ago. It took me the longest time to be cured.

And don't we know it!

It's being plugged relentlessly on all BBC radio and tv channels at every opportunity. They are obviously worried that no one is going to take to the new guy and have told every single program maker regardless of format or genre to talk it up whenever possible whether it is relevant to the program involved or not.

Personally I would rather have a Prostate examination with a sonic screwdriver than watch five minutes of Doctor Who which is a silly kids program after all and I wish the Beeb would STFU about it. I don't know if other nations are aware that we British have to pay £145.50 to the BBC for a TV licence every year (whether you watch the BBC or not I should add) and this is what they do with it when they make millions from selling it arcoss the world anyway. The BBC executives will all lose their Villas in Tuscany if this isn't as popular as it was with David Tennant so they will put endless resourses into plugging it and driving people like me to want to commit acts of vandalism to my nearest TV relay station which is actually just up the road from here ..................... hmmmmmm

I'd give the entire budget to Top Gear and tell 'em to go nuts :jump:

I've just watched it and.....well not sure about him yet, but I've just seen a preview of whats to come and I don't care who the doctor is when you've got Spitfires taking on Dalek warships :icon31: :d

I am Bummed OUT.. I liked David as the Doctor..
And my local cable doesn't get this without a expensive upgrade package..
Bummer..
I'l just have to wait and see it lt later.. I gress..

I'd love to be able to watch it too HH. But it's an expensive upgrade here too, and I ain't payin it. Besides, Comcast just raised our rates again. Satellite tv is starting looking better all the time.

I still haven't forgiven that show for trying to portray a Cessna Skyhawk as slower transportation across Europe than a sports car!

LOL..
Ken you should see the latest episode where James May turns a caravan into an airship and "invades" very 'active' airspace!

Okay, So I caught the first episode... Not bad... It started out a bit rough, but the show was very well written. I think he will eventually grow on me a bit more... It would be a tremendous feat to follow David T. anyways. I loved the part where they scrolled through all the Doctor's and kind of introduced him at the end of the show... What I didn't like: Don't like the new intro, or the new TARDIS... Sure those will grow on me too...
