I wanted to spread the word about this new way of getting people's information with out them even knowing it. This concerns credit cards and passports that contain RFID chips that have important information stored on them.

This is why I do not like the RFID tags, and why I am pretty conservative when it comes to adopting new tech. Might be an inconvenience to have to swipe my card, but at least I know that someone has to physically take my wallet to get the info. I am even wary about using my keyless entry to my cars because someone could scan the codes from that pretty easily as well. Just have to be on the alert for anything suspicious or out of place these days.

So far, I don't have any cards with an RFID chip. There are wallets made to shield cards from RFID readers and a hammer applied to the chip will destroy it.
