• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

'New Englanders..'

I live about 25-30 miles south and east of that area, thank god. :ernae:
Down here, temps shot up to about 55-60 degrees during the storm...no icing problems.

Those up in that area have it rough, they typically do.

Where I live in VT we got about 8 inches of snow followed by freezing rain and then another inch of snow.... No biggie other than nasty roads.

Brian, that's all the norm for winters up there. Same for Northern NY too. And I don't miss it.... yes I do... no I don't... nope, I don't at all. :costumes:

New Durham, NH. No power since 0330 Friday. Posting this from work (3 miles away) at 0610 Sun.( They just got power back) I just came back from 12 mile trip to nearest open Gas station to get more gas for a very cranky generator. Waiting for the sun to come up to try and unstick float in carb. Outside temp right now is 10deg F.
Out here.
