FSX Scenery--Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (KECP), Panama City, FL, USA. Photoreal scenery for FSX only. Made with ADE 9X. KECP Northwest Florida Beaches Int'l is one of the newest airports in the country; it was opened in 2010 and is not included in the FSX stock airports. This was created from scratch; all taxiways, ramps, buildings and runways were placed and aligned via Google satellite imagery. Custom terminal, Sheltair FBO and hangars modeled in Google Sketchup with photoreal ground textures of the airport and surrounding area as well. Also adds ATC, assigned parking, static aircraft, lights, and much more. Uses Jim Dhaenen's T-hangars and Kevin Burn's static aircraft library. By Matthew Hollcraft.

Thanks for the heads-up Chief! I used to live and work in PC "back-in-the day". Some of the most beautiful girls, beaches and water that I have ever seen.

I'm just going to add this to my Southeast Military Bases scenery folder since it's so close to Pensacola, Hurlburt, Eglin, and Tyndall. Might have to take a little scenic flight from Randy's Tifton to the new KECP. Wonder what happened to the old airport?

Let me know when and I'll take you out for a virtual lunch. We've just gotten an Olive Garden restaurant here.

Just a small note on this scenery. If you have MegaScenery Florida 2.0 installed, you might want to remove the photo bgls that come with the scenery. They are of a higher quality in color then the Mega panels but seem to be of a lower LOD. You will see them in the distance but FSX will continuously swap the lower LOD panels for the higher LOD Mega panels as you fly over the airport. I found it annoying to see them blinking in and out. I am sure that the author picked a lower res for his photo scenery to save disk space because each increase in resolution is a 4X increase in size and at some point it would be too big to put into a DL. The Scenery objects do match up with the Megascenery.
