New intelligence on Lorient Airbase

Man that looks great and its not even in color. Perhaps some Glenn Miller background music would really set the tone.

...and in colour.

You know Pat I never thought of putting a slideshow up on Youtube. I've tried video and "my old rig canna take it captain". However I have a new one on order, so I should be able to get back into the vid buisiness sometime after. I could do a slideshow now though, and with somne suitable music Lewis.:jump:

Jeff I emailed you some MP3's for background music, I included some jazz musicians from that era. If you want a specific song then give me the artist name and song title and I will try to locate it for you. If you just want certain portions of a song then get me the time marks from WMP and I will trim the file up for you. I can also change the file format if you want .wav or some other format.

Thanks Lewis. I just checked my e-mails and what a nice surprise! Thanks very much. I'll check them out tomorrow, as I'm sleepy now. Cheers mate.

Meanwhile check this out. It's not Youtube. The slide show is now on my website, I obtained the track from a royalty free site.

Hey Donny in the movie saving private ryan there was a scene where several american soldeirs were setting on the steps of this bombed out building. In the background there was a woman singing (in french I think). One of the guys was telling the rest of the guys what she was singing about. Do you know who that was? I have looked on the soundtrack CD and its not on there?

Very nice chaps. I appreciate this. I have also been looking for some free German marching songs or of course Marlene Dietrich. Do you know of any such sites? So far I've found this http://www.nsdapao.net/

It claims it is for all German Marching songs, but there does seem to be an emphasis on Nazi imagery on the home page. I did get some interesting free stuff though.

Donny thanks, I have been looking for that for awhile now.

Jeff I looked for MP3's under marlene dietrich but hanenot found anything yet.
