• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

New IRIS aircraft...

If I could venture a guess, Falcon, it is because he is preparing the homepage for the F-22 release; Not as though that addresses the customer service part of things, but it could at least explain the absence of the homepage...
Yep could be, I used to frequent the IRIS website daily, but since the latest shutdown due to hackers and maybe even the cursed weather they experience there recently, I've lost track of anything they're developing. I'm not a huge fan of facebook or twitter. . . .find both pretty boring actually, so trying to follow anything IRIS related has become useless.:salute:

Here's a portion of a post David made about 5 hrs ago on facebook:

". . . . . .and now my *3^~* website gets taken down by the serverhosts because of malware creeping into the server files. . . . ."

. . . . .and so the reason that his site is gone for the time being.:salute:

Is the F-22 waiting on the website to be released now? I read on the facebook page that it was very very close to release, and then the website went down.

On SimHQ there is an announcement that you can follow the F-22 development on Facebook. Some posts there imply that the plane has been released, but the IRIS website still seems to be down.

To clarify, the IRIS F-22 is not out yet, we're still fiddling with the thing, nearly there though... just a little while longer i promise :salute:
