Only Steam and Source SDK Basepack 2007 are required. Basepack is free, can be installed through Steam tools menu.

Played it through last weekend, what a blast. Played the original in 1999. I'm huge fan of the whole Half-Life saga. They captured the atmosphere perfectly in this mod. Some really nice improvements, some new puzzles and level designs, funny easter eggs, surprises and excellent attention to detail. I think it deserves a replay soon. And it's missing the last part (Xen levels), which will be release at later date.
