New Paint for an old Hot Rod!

Duckie

SOH-CM-2024
Been picking this up and puttin' it back for almost a year. The model is aged and the mapping got the better of me more than a few times, but finally got to a point that I can show some WIP shots. Figured since there probably will not be another for FS9 this was our only shot! The paint possibilities for this are practically endless. The E is first, then the F, and L. Maybe a C and an M down the road. We'll see what happens when I take on the L (simply put, a humpback C)!

Who's A-4? We used to fly the TA-4 off the Lexington when I was a crew member.

Looking great there Duckie.
Excellent work on a real neat airframe.
As you say, a huge variety of possible schemes.
We sure miss our old A4's down here in New Zealand.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work on the A4's and thanks for sharing it.

At one point, I was going to procure the A-4's from Razbam, but I never did, sadly. Reckon I'll have to revisit that thought....

Razbam's a-4 'the scooter'

Thanks for this Duckie. The oldies are still going well. As you say, there is a shed load of potential paints covering all of the variations RAZBAM produced. Your rendition does breathe life into the old dog.

Thanks guys. Already have several lined up but taking my time. Should have the first one out in a few days.

Still got the wings to do but should be up by the weekend. One more E then on to a couple of Fs

Have been flying these days the FSX Virtavia Scooter on and off the Oriskany but also have flown the Razbam A-4's for years. Have to say that old girl looks the business in these great new paints - nice work there Duckie.

Thank you NAMBUS and expat. The pleasure is all mine.

The Virtavia Scooter is a fine looking bird, and I have admired her from afar since I don't fly X! ;-)

Hey Duckie -- Thanks for the excellent repaints, they sure look good. Flightsim has a sale going on for Razbam goodies now... The Skyhawk Volumes are $5 apiece. So I got greedy and grabbed all 4. These little jets are a real kick to fly around, and your paint really brings the little bird back to life. You realize, this is all your fault, seeing your screen posts is the reason I now have a hangar full of little A-4's. Lots of little A-4's :dizzy:
