Hello,
Have just taken delivery of a new sim PC (Chillblast Fusion Hurricane - I3570K, 8gig RAM, 1Gig GTX560Ti card, Win7 64bit etc etc) as my old computer sadly died.
FSX runs well with the Orbx scenery but am very very disappointed by FS2004. On my old system it was superb with the VFR scenery looking very sharp indeed (see Yak screenshot) but on the new PC, everything more than a mile away from any position looks as if it has been washed out with a paintbrush. I compared my old cfg file with the new and made the necessary amendments, but to no avail its just terrible. As I would like FS2004 to remain my primary simulator as have so so much for it, I just hope that things improve in the future. There must be a way around the problem?
Has anyone else been in the same situation and is there a way around it?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions,
Best wishes,
Martin
