OK, silliness over. Can you use trainee master of civil engineering students for two month placements over the summer? If the answer's yes, I've got as many as you'd need who'd be thrilled to bits to get a bit of work experience in the US. To be used and abused in any way you see fit, no particular requirements from us other than that they work!

Actually yes, but we're a company with integrity...

We've had them from Sweden and Russia in the past. We had an intern from Germany lined up this year and we couldn't get a Visa cleared by the current State Department. We seem to be very efficient at blocking temporary legal work status for anyone with an education while completely ignoring the undocumented invasion at our southern border.

Yes, I see your point. Let me take a look this end, and I'll try and find out what the successful students have done to get the required paperwork. It has to be above board anyway, because otherwise it isn't credited to them as required work experience.

Boy I bet I get them going on this :icon_lol:..

Okay am I missing something?
WHAT Is SO Important about a Sunderland, Just a Ugly, Boat with wings..:icon_lol:

There are far more interesting Birds that we could use in our beloved flight sim..

Come on it's a flying Boat!!
A great target for a Fw 190 or Bf 109 nothing More..

Let the modellers and developers, spend time on Cool Birds Not ugly old BOATS that would fly like a brick anyway..

And if I didn't have to point My AMT LongSlide at the G-max program just to get it to play nice..
I'd try this,,, G-Max still a mystery here....

The modellers and developers have given More then I could Ever Have dreamed of, and All Free..

We do Need some young blood here in all of this..
I shall, as I can, keep messing up sourse files with g max
But I think that some new blood would Be Most welcomed..

As for the Sunderland, So What..
Off to Hide I expect a british attack any minute now..
:icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
If we are going to have a flying boat let it be one of the beautiful, Pam Am China Clippers..

Off hiding..LOL..

Let the modellers and developers, spend time on Cool Birds Not ugly old BOATS that would fly like a brick anyway..

Ha ha ha! What a naughty hobbit! There have been a number of models released which fly like bricks, but what the modeller likes, the modeller builds. Cool is in the eye of the modeller.... ;)

I expect a hand held nuke delivered over this..:icon_lol:

Yes the Men here who build all of this for us are true heros, and whatever built by them i've always been grateful..

And I can wreck anything they build..
Including a :icon_lol: flying boat...:icon_lol:

Okay am I missing something?
Yes!! :d

WHAT Is SO Important about a Sunderland
Well well well.... there are too many SO important things about this bird that it will not be possible to put everything in a post, even a book would not be enough :bump:

Personnaly speaking, major points are:

-> I've always loved this particular aircraft that was used all over the world during WWII.

-> since I've visited it at Hendon many years ago (about 15-20), I dream day and night to fly her in a flight sim. When I imagine how difficult were those very long recon missions flown by day and night in every wheather conditions in areas infested by Ju88C-6's, I'm really impressed.

-> I've started flight sims with Fighter Bomber, Their Finest Hour - The Battle of Britain and Falcon... since this time, I've flown fighters and bombers over ETO and PTO for so many hours that I'm looking for something different. Actually, I have everything I'm looking for with the possibility to fly immersive and historically accurate night ops (amazing brand new bombers and fighters models from RAF and Luftwaffe sides of all eras with great new effects brought by ETO team) and Coastal Command missions. Both are new experiences for me.

-> talking about Coastal Command missions, I really enjoy flying long patrols over the Bay of Biscay. I've build special random spawns so I really have too search for submarines and sometimes, I come back home with my depth charges just as it happened really. What a pleasure to fly Wellington, Catalina or Halifax in those mission types.... and very soon, the beautifull B24 will be available!!

So, if the Sunderland is realeased one day, I'll be the happiest simmer in the world, I'll fly her over the Bay of Biscay and the Mediterranean sea with such pleasure!

We are all playing flight sims but not for the same reason. Personnaly, I'm not looking for action but for historical immersion a new experiences.

Modelers

Well,

Led I am with you. I love the nightwar and sea missions. The land stuff has been over emphasized in this sim and others as well as in movies and books etc. So, that being said the only planes that I will make in the future will be those oriented toward the aforementioned aspects of the war. No jets, no what if's, no more fighters, or ground attack planes.

As I said in an earlier post:

Sunderland MkIII, HE 177 A-5, and that's it. I really don't care about much else aside from the P-61. Then a nice break and we'll see after that.

Okay, i was just poking you all with a sharp pointed stick concerning the Sunderland..

It is a great bird, and I realize the importance of The CC and the the nite missions over water..

Heck, even the american Cat, whom we kindly gave to England.. was a important Bird for the british cause in fighting the naval war..
Lot's of U-boat crews never came home because of the efforts of the CC Cats and Sunderland's
And many allied Lives were saved, by the work the CC did in the war..

And as I said, I am always grateful to all the efforts By the Masters who keep us supplied with birds and items to keep our beloved CFS3/expansions moving ahead..

I just enjoy poking the Brits, once in a while with a pointed stick..
Hey, have to keep you all on your toes..LOL..
Learned it from Monty Python..
As are most of the great lessons of life, leaned From Monty Python..
Those "sages" that they are...LOL..
Thanks for the Fun, and not to worry, once the Sunderland is out, I shall wreck her(often) with due respect and honor..:icon_lol:

Would the two ton heavy thing be:

a. dropped on my head? (if so, from what height?)
b. catapulted towards my head, like from a giant slingshot thingy?
c. a random striking of my head?
d. all of the above?
e. none of the above?
