This is my new rig especially for P3 for good WWI(not maximum but still much better than before) pleasure.
Intel P4 3GhZ
MSI Motherboard
Sapphire Radeon HD4670 (512MB DDR3)
3.5GB RAM DDR2
180GB Disk Space
Windows XP SP2

You know whats the best part? I builded the whole rig myself :d ! Almost from scratch.(I just kept the hard disks, the processor and the PSU from my old system)
First home built PC and it is gonna rock for P3. Bring it on then :ernae:.
What do you think the slider settings would be with this system btw?

Well, as you built it yourself, we'll forgive you for flexing! How much did you have to invest, if it's allowed to ask? (I'm thinking of modifying mine too).
Have fun with it! :typing:

Thats the whole fun! Building your own PC is very fun :ernae:.
As I said I kept the CPU, PSU and HDDs. So I paid 150 Euros (like 180$) for the motherboard, the video card and the RAMs :caked:.

Well done on building it yourself. Not to put a damper on things, but I see you have kept the Hard drive to use with a new motherboard.
Does everything run OK? Because sometimes there can be issues by using an old used HDD with a new motherboard.
If it runs OK - fine, but if you get problems it may be worth bearing this in mind.

Thanks fortiesboy, but I formatted the hard drives and now I got a whole new PC :ernae:

You got a Sapphire Radeon HD4670 -
I'm thinking of getting me a new card, but don't know were to settle.
Could you say, were yours would rank, in the system requirements for P3?

Perhaps in these steps: lowest - one third - middle - two thirds- upper

I really dont know. I think it is gonna be in the middle or at the two thirds(with more odds on falling at two thirds). It is a very cheap card, fast with good memory (512MB at DDR3). I used to have an ATI HD2400 Pro 512 MB AGP and had about 50 fps at CoD 2 and now I got 100+ with this card with very high video settings. I think that the 4670 is a VERY good option in the range of 50$-100$. If you go in higher prices you will find better cards. I would suggest you an HD4870 if you have the money for it. It is an amazing piece of harware. But if you dont want to spend much check out the HD4670 it is very decent.

I agree. I bought my first computer ten years ago and knew little more than how to turn one on. The only things that remain of it are the case and the floppy drive (which, at this point, is rather like a human appendix :d ). Over that time I've added RAM, replaced power supplies that have failed, hard drives that have failed and/or were no longer large enough, video cards, cd/dvd drives, and done two major (motherboard & cpu...latest including going to SATA hd's) upgrades and several minor (cpu only) upgrades.
