SOH-CM-2025
Babie Doly for fs9 by Ian Elliot 12/11
A military fighter airfield on the Baltic coast, home to both Polish airforce and Navy units,
situated a few miles north of the Gdansk, Gdynia area
Most objects are custom made but you'll need some basic MAIW librarys, which most of you will
probably have anyway.
Another library you may have is lts_ss_1.zip by Sidney Schwartz, ive used his lighting for the ramps.
I found some great Russian apartment block objects on Avsimrus, but the read-me's in Russian, but i
think the designers name is Antonio Totingue, and i took the risk of including the bgl's in my scenery.
The Russian Vehicles are also found on Avsimrus, thank you to whoever made them.
Also included is Swidwin, about 60 miles east, home of the Polish af SU-17 Fitter fleet
There are traffic files for both airfields, For Swidwin, ive used Kazunori Ito's SU-17, its not
really suitable for ai but at the moment its the only one out there, ive only included 8 aircraft,
and that may be too much for some PC's. There is an aiSu-17 in development and i'll jump on it
as soon as its released
Ive also had a go at altering the coastline and developing the port complex of Gdynia, creating docks and adding
shipping, thats why i recomend installing the ship scenery objects below, i was quite pleased with my efforts, but
could'nt figure how to lose the stock wave effects from the original coastline, but you'll have to look real
close to see them :)
Installation.
Unzip to a temp file and place both Babie Doly and Swidwin files into your Add-on scenery
folder and activate via Options---Scenery library
There are a lot of trees with these airfields, ive placed them on seperate bgl's, ive they are too much,
Just remove EZ-BDtrees.bgl and EZ-Swidtrees.bgl from the relevant scenery folder.
Also make sure your crash detection is off.
There's a few bits to download, for the Ai you'll need,
ai_mig21.zip by Mehlin Rainer, most will have this on there system if you have my
East German or Mongolian scenery, from Avsim and Flightsim,
ai_mig21tex.zip, repaint by Piotr Pachala available from Avsim and Flightsim,
su17m4_k.zip by Kazunori Ito. from Avsim and Flightsim,
ki22m3pc.zip, repaint by Michael Pearson, from Avsim and Flightsim,

Some optional scenery which is really good and easy to install,
ezgmship.zip by Winfried Orthmann and Lance Tucker from Avsim and Flightsim, easy to install, bgls go into your
Add-on scenery/scenery folder, and the texture's into your Add-on scenery/texture folder.
gdanskv3.zip by Bart Dylkiewicz, this will add extra reworked coastlines and landclass and custom objects of the
Gdansk ship yard area a few miles south of my scenery, from Flightsim only.
Hope you enjoy, ian.

Good show Ian!
Wow, Poland is getting some attention, I see Krzesiny is up at AVSIM too.

Anything from you is always well appreciated,I've got lot's to catchup with, but I'll get there.

many thanks,
Jamie

Great job on both the sceneries and not to bad on framerates. Poland could do with modifying Poznan and Lask for the F-I6's that have been done.

Regards Paul Day.

The "Kresta class" cruiser "Chapaev" and the Helicoptercarrier "Moskwa"... a few more will come. This ships are static and unfortunatly not landable... sorry :-( Maybe I can create a static objekt landable for Helicopters ? ... give me some time ;-) But this scenery yells for ships ;-)

Thought I'd get out Ito's Yak 23 Fora for a little sightseeing of the airfields and the recommended Gdansk scenery. Nice way to spend some time on a quiet morning.
