I've been painting two skinpacks for Capt. Giovanni Quai's and Capt. Italo D'Attomo's Fiat CR.32 Ter, converted to CSF2 by Stefano 'kelticheart' Denti.
The first one concerns 4 CR.32's wearing foreing contrise colours:
SCW-Fiat CR.32 Republican
Serial: CX-001
This aircraft was captured by Republicans on 12 October 1937 during Belchite combat.
It was repainted in the classic Green/Sky finish of many republican fighters and later
used in Air Defense
AUT-Fiat CR.32bis
Unit: Jagdgeschwader II, Luftstreitkrafte
Serial: 147
Austria, 1938. Overall aluminum dope finish.
These aircraft were used prior to Austrian's annexation by Germany in 1938. After the
annexation, these fighters saw brief service with the German Luftwaffe before being sold
to Hungary.
RLM-Fiat CR.32bis
Serial: 147
September, 1938. Luftwaffe fighter-trainer ex Austrian Air Force.
RLM-Fiat CR.32bis
Unit: I/JG 138
Serial: 179
Aspern, Vienna, Austria. September, 1938.
